General Description

This natural bathing lake was formed in the course of stabilization-activities of the storage-lake for the power station Lavamünd, in the middle of the 1970s. It is in the south west of Lavamünd, on the left shore of the storage-lake, and about 700 m far from the dam up the river. From 2003 to 2007 they realized building projects again to improve the bathing pond. Today the lake has an area of 8.800 m² , its deepest region of 6 m is in the south- west shore zone.
